Terry Smith-Lessons from Davis

One of the most useful lessons I learned at Davis was that we could get a 3 day suspension if we skipped school to go hunting. Great...3 more days of hunting. Consequently, throughout my career as a HS Teacher, Principal, Assistant Superintendent-I never suspend a student for skipping school.
