South Africa has been home now for a little more than a year. After high school and college, I worked in a field of medicine called cytogenetics, in which we diagnosed chromosome abnormalities. A few years ago, my Lord, Jesus, spoke to my heart about my wife and I becoming missionaries. I was able to retire from my career in the lab and become a missionary teacher. Gloria and I teach at a Christian school operated by a wonderful little church in Kokstad, South Africa. We love it here. We have two grown children who remain in the States.
