George Perry Lost in Tragic Accident 3/28/10

On Sunday March 28, 2010 George and Clara Perry were returning from visiting their family in Las Vegas. In the process of returning home they suffered a tragic car accident and passed away at the scene. George was the Athletic Director of Garey High School. He was a kind and loving man that cared immensely about the students and staff of Garey High. Both he and his wife Clara participated in school activities together. Together they shared a great life. Clara was always at his side in life and death. George was also an accomplished Football coach in Las Vegas where he is honored in the coaching Hall of Fame in Las Vegas, Nevada. George was also an avid golfer where he and Clara organized Garey's annual golf tournament. George enjoyed his weekends playing golf with his friends and co-workers. He enjoyed one last weekend playing golf with his family before he was tragically taken from us all. Everyone at Garey and Pomona Unified will miss these two great human beings.

This was from a local publication in the area that the Perrys lived. Our friend and classmate was excited about the reunion and seeing his classmates. We will miss him.
